My favorite ultra runner

24th January 1980 (Belo Horizonte, Brazil).

Today was the last timed stage of Marathon Des Sables . We ran a full marthon in the desert: 42,2km and I crossed the finish line in third, after 4:14:32. Tomorrow is a mandatory stage, "Solidarité MDS" but does not alter the overall ranking. So, congrats to Elisabet Barnes and Natalie Mauclair for taking first and second positions in the race, right ahead of me. Way to go girls! Valeu a torcida, gente!

She is also sport nutritionist that loves to encourage people to have a health life. In this way her love of nature and to help people are not limited only to her experiences through her sport, but also to reaching out to others in working and teaching to conserve, protect our natural environment and have life quality.

What inspires you? The silence and also our huge or simple mother Earth: one little detail is a big detail.
